Scholarship for California residents who are undergraduate students enrolled at a postsecondary institution in Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Merced, or Tulare County, California pursuing studies in Nursing. Students must be U.S. citizens/permanent residents and agree to practice one year in a medically underserved area of California as an RN providing direct patient care. Priority given to students entering an ADN program within one year. Number of awards may vary. A personal statement and a SAR or copy of federal tax return must be included with application packet. Renewable.
