Annual award for college juniors, seniors, or graduate students enrolled full-time at the University of Iowa College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Music Department. Students must have a minimum 3.0 CGPA, be born and educated in Iowa, planning to establish a string quartet with emphasis on pre-1900 classical, baroque, and romantic music, and must be nominated.
