Medical School Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Hispanic College Fund-Universidad Aut�noma de Guadalajara Medical School Scholarship you must meet all of the following criteria:

  Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident residing in any of the fifty states or Puerto Rico.

 

Must be Hispanic or of Hispanic heritage

 

Must submit evidence of financial need (includes submitting student's or parent's IRS income tax returns)

 

Must be fluent in English and have a basic foundation in Spanish (admitted students will begin classes in English and gradually transition to Spanish. Admitted students who do not speak Spanish may take Spanish language classes at UAG)

 

Must meet the Medical School's eligibility criteria and fulfill all of the admission requirements

 

Must be applying to be a first-year medical student (UAG School of Medicine does not accept transfer students)
