DePaul Community Service Scholarship

Scholarship for incoming freshmen attending DePaul University in Illinois full-time. Applicants must have demonstrated an exceptional record of community service. Recipients will be required to minor in Community Service Studies which comprises six additional courses, three of which are unique to the community service studies program. Students are also requried to complete at least 30 hours of community service each quarter with one of the community partners. Monsignor Egan Hope Scholarships

Scholarship for students who, reside or have resided in one of Chicago's financially depressed neighborhoods, and have been accepted to DePaul University as full-time freshmen. Student must rank in the top 50% of their graduating class, possess a strong motivation to succeed, and be committed to community service and assisting youth. Finalists must attend an interview in April. Award will meet the full need of the student by filling the gap after federal and state funds are utilized.
